Considered one of the top beauty artists in the business, Damone Roberts' talent for painting faces and sculpting the perfect arch has graced some of the world’s most beautiful and famous people including Madonna, Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Megan Fox, Vanessa Williams, Mandy Moore, Alicia Keys and Robert Downey Jr.

Damone has expanded his virtual expertise as a regular contributing beauty editor for Oprah.com by providing answers to beauty mysteries. From expanding his beauty empire to Los Angeles to NYC, Damone is the foremost expert in revitalizing faces with his signature brows.

Damone Roberts and his products have been featured on countless television shows and "best of lists"--amongst them "Hollywood’s Hot 100 List of Things Stars Can't Live Without," Allure magazine's  “Best of the Best” for 2007-2009, and  InStyle listed Damone as “The Best” in the Ultimate Black Book of Beauty for 2009.

Most recently, Damone has bridged his beauty expertise with style by teaming up with "The Happiest Place On Earth." At the World Premiere of Disney's animated feature film "The Princess and The Frog", a Damone Roberts Salon was built, complete with Damone Roberts Divas to provide mini makeovers for all the attendees' daughters; transforming them into princesses for the night.

Damone believes his greatest success is not only showing people how to see themselves in a special way but in making them live it, love it and most importantly, believe it.

The principle aspect of my style

Vintage mixed with designer. I’m not a fan of anything “head to toe”. I believe true style originates when you take clothing and put your stamp on it, making it your own.

The quality that I desire in a shoe.

I must admit, I am a sucker for a fabulous shoe. The quality must be of a high standard and the look must be on point as well. Rounding out this list is something I am becoming much more a fan of lately…Comfort.

The quality that I desire in a bag.

I usually have several meetings daily and my mind is on “overdrive” at all times so I need a well made bag with several compartments  to file away everything from “post-it’s” and contracts to make-up and brushes while still being able to uphold being tossed in my back seat.

What inspires me most?

Music, Art, Movies, Books, Water, Sunsets, Food…

What I appreciate most about my closet.

It’s big and organized. I have found as I’ve gotten older that I’m also becoming a fan of keeping things minimal.

What is your dream purchase?

A YACHT IN ST.BARTH!

What is your dream fashion purchase?

YSL 2010 Cruise Collection motorcycle jacket in Plonge' Leather.  I am a huge fan of Yves Saint Laurent and what they have done for men’s clothing.  Also, pretty much anything from Costume National. My heart starts beating a little bit faster every time I walk into one of their stores.

Who’s style do you admire.

David Beckham gives me everything I need, Tom Ford always looks really nice, Lenny Kravitz stays true to who he is, Rihanna is looking absolutely fabulous lately and Dita Von Teese is pure perfection.

The city where you live.

I spend my time between my salon locations in Beverly Hills and New York City.

Your favorite color.

DR 1968 O.P.I nail color which is also the color of my salon walls (Pistachio Green).

The scent of perfume that I like.

The scent of peace by Bond No. 9

My favorite authors.

Jancee Dunn, Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Don Miguel Ruiz.

My Favorite stores.

Costume National, Top Shop, Maxfield in LA & Jeffries in NY.

My hero’s in fashion.

Diane Von Furstenberg is a perfect example of a designer who created something that was instantly recognizable without anyone seeing the label. She is also inspiring because she is a warrior. She lost everything at one point, refused to let it define her, came back and is now at the top of her game.

 My favorite music.

My taste in music is extremely diverse. In one day you can find me listening to Minnie Riperton and Mozart in the morning  Ithen to Esthero and Bat for Lashes in the afternoon and some serious hip hop in the evening. I LOVE MUSIC!

My heroes in real life.

My late mother was an incredible woman. She had a magical gift of making everyone feel extremely special. She was the mother that all my friends wish they had.

My style heroines in history.

70’s Diana Ross, 40’s Marlene Dietrich, 80’s Jody Watley  & Grace Jones, 60’s Audrey Hepburn.

My Favorite Designer.

The first couture fashion show I ever saw was Valentino in Paris, It changed my life. John Galliano always pushes the limits, Phillip Lim is taking fantastic strides and Christian Siriano has an incredible future ahead of him.

What I hate most of all in style.

People that think just because you are wearing a label, you are in style. Some of the most stylish people I know don’t make very much money at all.

What is the city were you feel most at home.

PARIS!

My present state of mind.

2010…Ask for what you want and be prepared to get it.

My style mantra.

Be true to who you are.
