The principal aspect of my style.

Easy Elegance.

The quality that I desire in a shoe.

I have three types of shoes that I deal with so. First, I have dress shoes that you require exquisite design and fit (Prada) (and style and the all purpose shoe the city shoe is a Chelsea boot (RM Williams/JN Weston/Paul Smith) and third type of shoe is sneaker, I favor classic shapes and conform and every usability (Puma Speedcap series, Classic Addidas)

The quality that I desire in a bag.

Functionality and Design . I use a Botegga Veneta dress bag, my favorite briefcase is a satchel by Botegga Veneta which fits my laptop perfectly, but the bag that use every day is a Tumi laptop bag,

What inspires me most.

Beauty. Beautiful things and beauty work which I see every where around me

At this point of my life I am able to have the fortune to have a closet with beautiful clothes in it.

What is your dream purchase?

A Fiji the entire country

What is your dream fashion purchase?

A Timothy Everest suit with matching coat

Whose style do you admire?

I think that a cliché but Steve Mcqueen defines style in so many ways, he had a incredible sense of fashion what you see in William Claxton book about Steve McQueen, is his fantastic style in the school of and influence of who came before and the generation of the Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra but he but a scruffy elegance and accessible edge to it was so chic. He is quintessentially man’s style icon

As for women, Nicole Richie has great paparazzi style, Naomi Campbell does an immaculate job being in the public eye and looking very crisp. Kate Moss huge impact with her style and the way she is seen around.

The city where you live.

Hollywood

Your favorite colour.

Green

The scent or perfume that I like

Anick Goutal, and Vetiver,(Guerlain) The one I enjoy wearing the most is Passage d'Enfer Eau de Toilette by L’Artisan Parfumeur and Hermes Terre

My favorite authors.

I have enjoyed Tom Robbins, Jitterbug Perfume but I don’t read must fiction and I read serious non-fiction and technical—I think a must read is The True History Club Bilerderberg, by Danny Esterman

My favorite stores.

Dover Street Market, is heaven. I love Hermes, everywhere, when you walk into an Hermes stores you feel like you are walking into a world of exquisite quality. The grand old department store even though its not the same as it was, but I love London’s Harrod's, Masson—the great English department store and Bergdorf’s in US has the element as well

My heroes in fashion.

My mother was a designer and photography was love and the people who first caught my attention were Diana Vreeland, she styled the film and she was the great style down in the US when American reached the culture center of the new work when she and Richard Avedon did amazing work for Bazaar and then for US Vogue. It was a time where we lived in awe of her. (Funny Face was the Richard Avedon and Diana Vreeland that chemistry responsible for the unique style ) and I really admire Grace Coddington and going through the business in UK she did such extraordinary things. Launched the careers but it was her work that took Perter Lindenberg and Brue Weber and Paolo Reverti that brought them from being interesting new photographers to extraordinary established working photographers.

In terms of designers, Charles James his clothes were exquisite, my middle name is a namesake after my mother’s affinity for him. Frederick Worth was amazing and more recent time I love John Galliano, Hussein Chayalan, Tom Ford, style of Rick Owens.

My favorite music.

House Music of the late 80s. Marshall Jefferson

My heroes in real life.

Bono. He is my generation and is the person that I am most proud to line up behind and say that’s my generation because he’s amazing artist, front man for his band and singer and a devoted humanitarian.

My style hero/heroines in history.

Cleopatra, because she represents the power of women in a way the Queen of Sheba is spoken of but not known. First, superstar women who took charge of her world.
Queen Boadicea of England, she was the one led the revolt against the Roman and Queen England I, Queen Victoria, Mata Hari, Lauren Baccall. Their style it comes from the inside and courage and takes the world by storm.

Krissy Hines, Susy Sue, Pat Benetar, Cher, Tina Turner, Pink all of them have had bold style independent and individual not followers and leaders in every way and that is the greatest style of all and leaders also tend to lend fashion too.

My favorite designer

Today shopping for myself, based on the clothes is probably, YSL Stefano Pilati

What I hate most of all in style.

Not much because I see everyone's style as a reflection of self. But probably when people have no style like tracksuits with things written on the ass.

My style mantra.
