How do I upload a look?

How do I delete a look?
Click PORTFOLIO in the top header select the look you wish to delete and click it, this will take you to the look detail on the tab click EDIT. See Fig. 1 Scroll to the bottom of the page click the DELETE button. See Fig. 2. Note that this will permanently delete the look so make sure you wish to delete it.


How do I edit a look?
You can edit a look at any time. If you wish to move your style tags, click the look in your PORTFOLIO and simply drag and move the style tag where you wish to place it. To edit your title, description or the actual style tags.
Click PORTFOLIO in the top header select the look you wish to edit and click it, this will take you to the LOOK DETAIL on the tab click EDIT. You can click the REMOVE button from the LOOK DETAIL to change the look or write your title or description, or delete or edit the style tags, then SAVE. Your new changes will be visible in the LOOK DETAIL. You can confirm by re-selecting the look from your PORTFOLIO and reviewing the look detail.


How do I enter style tags?
After you uploaded your look (See the Quick Guide on How to upload a look). You will enter your title and look description.
STYLE TAG field is located at the bottom of your UPLOAD page. Simply type in the name of the article of clothing or accessory, for example "Marc Jacobs Sophia Bag" and place comma, and next item. The system may prompt you for existing style tags in the system if it is correct with its suggestion simply click it. A good way to enter style tags is by following the following format:
"Designer name Article Name”, Designer Name Article Name" until your look is completely described.
So we can keep your search results very accurate, It is important that you use the look description to enter the color, or how like or feel about the clothing for example “red cool and comfortable" is not a proper style tag and should be placed in your look descriptions.
How do I find my friends?
From the Main Portal Click on the bottom left hand side there is a "FIND YOUR FRIENDS" You can find your friends by entering their email address or entering the name in the search and hit apply. The results will show below the fields you have selected.
How to I change my user icon?
Click the CHECKYOUdaily logo on top menu on the right hand side to return to the main protal. From the main portal page next to your icon will see a summary of your activity, click EDIT ACCOUNT Make sure the Account Info is selected. Scroll down to "PICTURE” click the browse button to select an image from your computer then click upload.
What is the COTERIE?
A Coterie is an intimate and often exclusive group of persons with a unifying common interest or purpose. These are the collection of your style minded friends on the CHECKYOUdaily network. You can add a user to Coterie by clicking ADD TO COTERIE in viewing their profile. To view a user's profile click on one of their looks and underneath the look detail click PROFILE. The ADD TO COTERIE link is located to the right of their picture icon.
What are TEARS?
In the real world tearsheets denote a page cut or torn from a publication of an editorial or image that you wish to collect for inspiration. On CHECKYOUdaily, TEARS function virtually "tears"
looks that your selects a favorite or you wish to reference in the future and puts in a collection for you.
How do I add a look to my tears?
To add a look to your TEARS, click on the look that you wish to select click underneath the look image click "ADD TO TEARS" The look is automatically added to your TEARS. To retrieve or review your TEARS, click on the CHECKYOUdaily logo to return to your main portal and click on the TEARS reference next to your picture icon or scroll down to the TEARS heading to preview theTEARS in your collection.
How do I get back to the main PORTAL page?
Simply click on the CHECKYOUdaily logo on the top right hand side of the main menu which is present at all times.
How do I invite my CHECKYOUdaily.com friends to my COTERIE?
You can add a user to Coterie by clicking ADD TO COTERIE in viewing their profile. To view a user's profile click on one of their looks and underneath the look detail click PROFILE. The ADD TO COTERIE link is located to the right of their picture icon.
How do I accept a COTERIE request?
You can accept a COTERIE request two ways, if you get a email notification of a CHECKYOUdaily.com friend making a request you can log in to CHECKYOUdaily.com and then click or cut and paste the link provided which will take you to the accept request screen. You can also click on your own COTERIE link from your PROFILE page and click the Received Tab and accept or decline the request there.
How do I change my password?
Click the CHECKYOUdaily logo on top menu on the right hand side to return to the main protal. From the main portal page next to your picture icon will see a summary of your activity, click EDIT ACCOUNT Make sure the Account Info is selected Scroll down to "USER NAME" in the password fields enter the new password you wish to have and then enter it again to confirm your new password.
How do I invite my friends to the CHECKYOUdaily network?
Click the CHECKYOUdaily logo on top menu on the right hand side to return to the main portal. From the main portal page next to your icon will see a summary of your activity, click INVITATIONS tab, click on the New invitation link enter your friends email address separated by comma. Each email will count on as one invitation. Note the prompt above which will tell you "You have ___ invitations remaining". Enter a personal message to follow the standard invite greeting and click send. You can track your invitations by clicking the Accepted, Pending and Expired links under the invitation tab.
How many invites do I have?
Click on the CHECKYOUdaily logo on the top menu on the right hand side to return to the main menu. From the main portal page next to your picture icon you will see a summary of your account. The number located next to "TEARS" is the number of invites you have to give your friends outside of the CHECKYOUdaily network. You can also click the INVITES link and then the NEW INVITAITION link to determine how many invites are available to give. All new members receive a min of 5 invitations to give. if you run out of invitations, and if the network determines you need more you will receive a message letting you know that you have new invitations to give.
How do I send a message?
You can send messages by clicking on a user's portfolio then clicking the SEND MESSAGE link next to their picture icon. These messages are private and only that user will see them. If you wish to make a comment about their look you may click on their look and enter your comment in the COMMENT field and click POST COMMENT all users on the network will be able to see your comment.
How do I make my portfolio private?
Click the CHECKYOUdaily logo on top menu on the right hand side to return to the main protal. From the main portal page next to your picture icon will see a summary of your activity, click EDIT ACCOUNT, Select the Personal Info tab and scroll down to Privacy Options. Click the box "Keep Portfolio Private" this will keep all users from seeing your look so you can keep your private online journal of your looks.
How do I delete my profile?
Simple state the reason for your request and send using the feedback page.
How do I search for looks?
Click on the SEARCH LOOKS links to search by location and thumbnail search. Your search results will be images of looks. For style tag and content search click SEARCH PORTAL link for key word results. Your search results will be in text referering you to all the items in your search with the looks on the network and the editorial content in ICON, BESPOKEN, SCOPE, & BESPOKEN.
I selected and uploaded an image from my computer and its taking forever to upload! What's the problem?
The CHECKYOUdaily network has a limit on the size of the images that are uploaded to the site. Make sure that the image that you selected is less than 2 MB and is a gif, png or jpg file. If your selected image meets those requirements and you still have an issue check your internet connection to make sure your internet service provider is not experiencing a problem. I uploaded a look and it's not in my portfolio what went wrong?
This error usually occurs when you have not entered your look title, description or style tags.
Return to the upload screen and re-upload your image with enter the look title, description and style tags and click on your portfolio and the look will now be in your PORFTOFLIO.

I uploaded my look and my style tags but when I roll over my image there are no style tags?
This error usually occurs because you have not moved the style tag sonto the images. Once you have uploaded your look and entered the style tags, click on the cross cursor next to the style tag. See the Quick Guide for reference on Setting Tags.
I entered my look and I forgot to enter my description and style tags where did my look go?
This error usually occurs when you have not entered your look title, description or style tags. Return to the upload screen and re-upload your image with enter the look title, description and style tags and click on your portfolio and the look will now be in your PORTFOLIO.

I [insert any of the following: searched for a user, clicked on another users look, clicked on another users profile, tried to upload a look] and it takes me back to my profile page. What's the problem?
This error usually occurs because you have not logged out of a prior session. The CHECKYOUdaily session only allows you to have one session at a time. Making sure that when you leave the network you do so by logging out if your browser has a session memory cached or if you have the browser remember your password. If this occurs log out of network by clicking LOGOUT in the top left corner and closing your browser. Re open your browser and log on from www.checkyoudaily.com. This will reset your session and you should no longer have this error. If the error persists use the FEEDBACK page below to contact us.
I think my look has been deleted? What happened?
In some cases your Look may be deleted by the CHECKYOUdaily team (and
you will typically receive a message from The Moderator or Administrator to let you
know) if it doesn't follow these guidelines:
• Offensive Language. Your Look Description has language that
can deemed as offensive or is just plain rude. Although rare if this is
the case, your entire look will be deleted.
• Your Look is Shows
Too Much. Although we know some Looks may include swimwear, or some
avant guard fashions, Looks that show “ too much” or border on the line
of nudity or showcases lingerie will deleted. Keep those Looks for your
boudoir.
• Blank Looks. A Look without Style Tags is something
that will also get your Look deleted although you will receive a
warning to make the modification within 48 hours. Remember the site
uses these Style Tags to allow our Members to search globally for
inspiration so without them your site experience borders on the
unpleasant.
• Relevance. Looks of you as a child, riding a camel
in front of the Pyramids, or wearing your friend’s Groucho Marx mask
doesn’t really make sense for you or for us, remember this is a community
for those who are style savvy and wish to showcase their individual
personal style. Unless we have a costume style challenge--save your fun
party pictures for your 'other' social network accounts.
• Looks
with More than One Individual. Try to keep yourself in the look. We
know sometimes it’s hard to get a photo of yourself alone--since you
look so great. Just to let you know looks with more than two (2) people
will be automatically deleted. If you must have another person in your
Look, make sure they are tagged as well or this Look may be deleted.
• Looks with Only One Item. For individual Items, we know
that pair of boots is hot or maybe that bag? Well, individual items
without you, really isn't a Look so those will be deleted too. Just in
get the shot--don't worry you look great.
